This represents a portion of the whole that makes up the world and Canada's contribution to that whole. There are many other stories from many other people and places in the world. People who've made sacrifices for the rights and freedoms that we all enjoy today. We learn the most from people who've had to fight for something that we take for often take granted.

There are many stories the world over and much to be learned.
