The Origins Of Shhhh! Digital Media

Hi. if you've found this site, you're looking at the origins of what eventually became Shhhh! Digital Media (

This site started out under the web address (which is now defunct). It now resides at

I originally started this site in mid 2012, using it as a place to post my creative fiction and my thoughts and opinions with regard to the state of things.

I'm Brian Joseph Johns and I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in Regent Park in 200 Sherbourne Street in Apt 701 and have for about nine and a half years as of this writing.

I originally published A Lady's Prerogative and The Butterfly Dragon (two of my flagship novels) in mid 2012 on this site, around the same time I originally published the website itself. I also published the still work in progress Stories From The End, which details the adventures of a crafty electrical engineer and her peers from work as the society around them collapses. All of these books remained in their first draft format, online and for free if you took the time to read them.

In 2014, looking to expand the focus of my site I created two separate sites to house A Lady's Prerogative and The Butterfly Dragon each. Around the same time, I also created Shhhh! Digital Media. I initially started out by publishing software there. My first offering was a somewhat dated password manager that offered many features including hotkeys and limited automation and ran strictly on Windows.

As the popularity of A Lady's Prerogative and The Butterfly Dragon grew, I became overwhelmed by the amount of work I was putting into each of them, their being on separate sites. So I merged them with Shhhh! Digital Media in 2015, and started writing new material for both in the form of their sequels.

They grew more and more in popularity and as they did, I also became more and more victimized by an abusive stalking cult, by which I am still bullied until this day. There's no real motive for their attacks other than they're just mean abusive people. They're "Faustian" (from Goethe's book of the name: Faust) in the sense that they believe the human soul is a form of currency with which you can buy things. So these would be the kind of people who steal that currency from you, your soul being made up of your lifetime experiences, efforts and accomplishments, good, bad and everything in between.

Their whole method is based upon making the worst of you (or other people you know) very burdensome for you by constantly harassing you about those things. They then take that burdensome aspect of your being from you, which you pay them for by giving up something good of your life to their credit. For example, if you donated a large sum of money to a charity, and in the same year, you got drunk at a party and started yelling obscenities, they'd take the credit for your having donated to charity as payment for hiding the fact that you got drunk at a party and yelled obscenities. That's the basic means to their whole methodology, their whole secret right there. Seeing as they regard those instances of your life as being your soul, they are soul eaters in a sense. An abusive cult.

At that time, the combination of work I was putting into the stories along with the demand and the efforts of this abusive stalking cult, I closed and deleted Poetry, Fiction, Software, Music, Graphics, Ideas. Until this day, I can't reopen the site under that name and url on Google's Blogger service, so the original site and its url are dead.

I did however save several backup copies of the site before I deleted it, and low and behold, that's what you're reading right this very second thanks to the magic of technology!

So, this is what's left of my Poetry And Fiction site. Its a bit rough around the edges and there are missing images from the original site, but its mostly intact. Please enjoy.
